The many clubs at T.S. Cooley offer excellent after school opportunities
 for students in Grades 3rd-5th .

Chess Club: Selected students in K-5th grade with outstanding Chess playing skills are invited to participate. Meetings are held weekly on Thursdays.  Sponsors are: Mrs. Lanier and Mrs. Guidry	Quiz Bowl:   The club is open to 4th and 5th grade students. Members are eligible to try out for the school Quiz Bowl team. Meetings are held the first Thursday of each month. Meetings are held  after school from 3-4 p.m. Sponsors are Mike Wrobel, Tararra Babaz, and Kristen Orndoff.
Beta Club: Open to Qualified 5th Grade Students. Club meetings are held the 4th Monday of each Month. Sponsor is Mrs. Nixon.	Library Workers: Open to 5th graders with Outstanding conduct who are honor roll students  Sponsor: Mrs. Lanier
4-H:  Open to all interested 4th and 5th graders. Club meetings are held the 1st Monday of each month. Sponsor is Mrs. Schmitt.	RICH KIDS:  Selected group of 3rd-5th grade students who meet once a month to be trained as Peer Technology Leaders in the classroom. Meetings are held the second Monday of each month.   Sponsor is Mrs. DeClouette.
Safety Monitors:   The club is open to 5th grade students. Students assist with monitoring at recess. They serve as safety monitors for a six week period. Sponsor is Fritzi Fralick.
